How To Kill Stinkbugs With RESULTS Ant & Insect Killer

Stinkbugs or Squash Bugs are much like Box Elder Bugs in that they are not a danger to humans or our homes. But we at Diatect International completely understand our customers don’t want to go to bed with dozens of stinkbugs crawling around the room. Just the thought of extra company while we are sleeping is enough to want to kill stinkbugs! Don’t worry, with RESULTS Ant & Insect Killer and these simple instructions, you can sleep peacefully knowing that you won’t be disturbed by a stinkbug crawling in your bed.

The stinkbugs move through even the smallest of cracks, through your attic, down the inside of your walls and out the bottom of your moldings in search of warmth. Stinkbugs can get in through loose windows or cracks where your house meets its foundation. RESULTS Ant & Insect Killer can be used as a barrier to kill stinkbugs. Simply put a light dusting around the areas and in the cracks (we recommend the Chapin Dust Pump for applying in cracks) where you notice the stinkbugs entering your house (some people find using a paint brush or broom helps spread it evenly). Most of the stinkbugs will choose not to cross the barrier, preferring the cold to death, the few that do cross will die shortly after. The end result will be that you notice far fewer of the stinkbugs in your house and the few stinkbugs that you do find will be dead or dying.

The main thing to keep in mind is that RESULTS Ant & Insect Killer is a contact killer to kill stinkbugs. Meaning, if the stinkbugs don’t actually touch the powder it won’t affect them at all. That means, if you have even the smallest opening in your barrier, stinkbugs can slip right through. Most stinkbugs won’t, but a few will. And you will want to “renew” the barrier once ever 2-3 weeks or if you notice an increase in the number of stinkbugs roaming around.

As for pets, we use a similar formulation as a flea killer that is meant to be used directly on cats and dogs.
