DIATECT® III combines Pyrethrum (PY) a botanical extract from African Daises, Diatomaceous Earth (DE or Silicon Dioxide) and Piperonyl Butoxide(PBO) to control insects quickly and efficiently. PY and PBO cause paralysis and quick knock-down to kill insects in only minutes. DE is used as a carrier for the neutrotoxin and a de-hydrant. The active ingredients in DIATECT® III breakdown quickly. It is also a useful tool to manage insect resistance, as the Pyrethrins have never induced resistance even after decades of use.
